About Us

Founded in February of 1997, Living Word Evangelical Free Church has been a fellowship committed to a passionate love of our Savior and a fervent love for each other and our community. Since our inception, we have embraced the motto "Raising up servant-leaders for the Kingdom of God", it is our belief that God wants more than "Sunday morning only" followers. His passion for us took him to the cross where he laid down everything for us. It is our just response, and privilege, to live lives where we learn to lay down everything for him. We don't want to be "part of the crowd" Christians. We want to make a difference for our Savior and for those He loved so much, He died for them.

Because of our call and desire to raise up servant leaders, We have been a church always focused on reaching the lost and discipling those who are willing to grow in their faith and service. We have had a Christian school since 1998. We have had outreaches at the county fair and farm show since 1999 where we have prayed with more than 2750 people to commit their lives to Christ. We have an array of opportunities to grow closer to our Lord including Sunday School for all ages, a Wednesday night Bible Study currently focusing on the Book of Revelation, as well as Small Groups oriented toward prayer or service.

As pleased as we are with God's grace to us thus far, we believe that the greatest days for this part of God's body lay ahead. Perhaps, God is calling you to join hands with us as we serve Him, and reach others for Him.
